Trade Group Forecast All-Time Record For U.S. Airlines

Airlines in the U.S. will carry more passengers than ever this spring.  That's the forecast of the industry trade group Airlines for America.  The group known as A4A said today it expects airlines to fly more than 150-million passengers between the beginning of this month and the end of April.  That's an average of nearly 2.5 million fliers a day and a 4% increase over last year.

A4A says more competition and lower fares are making air travel more accessible to more Americans.
